Infatuation: Review
In a neighborhood where outdoor seating tends to mean a few, starting-to-rust sidewalk tables next to a bike with no back wheel, it’s good to know about Ten Hope. The massive backyard at this Mediterranean spot in Williamsburg has couches, tables, and half the plants from Home Depot’s garden section. It’s a good place to day drink with a group, especially if you’re the kind of person who gasps when someone suggests you leave your dog at home - the dog-friendly courtyard is accessible from the street. There’s also a small indoor area with living room furniture and bar seating that works for casual dates, and if you want to eat some food, share the buttery za’atar flatbread with tahini hummus, or the juicy brick-chicken with spicy garlic sauce.
